A Great Solution For List-Lovin' Mamas - And ListMaker Wannabees...
Sunday, July 15, 2007 at 08:26PM I have to admit it, when Jennifer Tankesley asked me to review her website, Listplanit.com -- I was pretty skeptical.
I often see moms drive themselves crazy with lists. Or rather, with one BIG list that they don't know how to organize properly to be really helpful... (For my solution to that problem - see this entry)
But when I got over to ListPlanIt.com, I just loved it. I was downloading right and left! Wow...this is good stuff...
She's got a premade, printable form for everything you can think of...and yet, her site is not at all overwhelming. On the contrary, I think it's liberating.
This goes beyond simple list making, it's sound parenting and homekeeping advice -- in action.
For example, ListPlanIt offers several "Responsiblity Lists" with pre-done lists of suggested tasks for Infant through teens, plus a blank one for customizing your own responsibility list. There you go, parenting advice in the form of a list!
She also offers a monthly cleaning schedule with suggested schedule of getting your house clean throughout the month. Or you can choose a blank one and fill in your own cleaning schedule or rearrange List Plan It's to fit your own needs.
But beyond household basics, ListPlanIt also offers list on everything from finances & budgeting, travel, books to read and even lists form to track your personal goals and dreams.
If you're a Type-A list-lovin' mama who just thrives on being organzied, you'll love this resource. And if you're a type-b, sometimes organized mama who wants to improve her organzation skills, I think you'll love this too.
So go to http://www.solutionsforbusymoms.com/listplanit, click around and check it out. I think you'll be glad you did.
